Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe: Today we celebrate the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe! What a beautiful reminder that Jesus is not just the Christ, Messiah, Prince of Peace and King of Kings, but the King of the entire Universe! One of my favorite songs, “My Redeemer Lives,” by Nicole C. Mullen, has the opening lyric, “Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning?” The song then continues to acknowledge God’s wonder and power over creation—the ocean, the moon, the stars and all of creation.  If you haven’t heard this beautiful song, I’ve included a YouTube link below. Today’s feast day is also the last Sunday of the liturgical year. When Advent starts next week, it will mark the beginning of a new church year/calendar. Corpus Christi Corpus Christi— The celebration of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ celebrates the full divine and true presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist—The center of our Catholic faith! What an amazing and holy feast day! Every time we set foot into our parish, we have the opportunity to be in the presence of Jesus with us in the Holy Eucharist. Let that sink in for a minute. Jesus—the Son of God—is present in the tabernacle, and each time we receive him in Holy Communion, we invite His body, soul, and divinity into our hearts! Oh, unfathomable mystery!  I recently watched the documentary I Am With You, from EWTN, which is about Blessed Carlo Acutis and his love for the Holy Eucharist. The passion that Carlo, a youth of fifteen, had for the Eucharist is so inspiring. He said, “People who put themselves before the sun get tanned.
